Christmas Sudoku
Classic 9x9 sudoku with a Christmas feel: a paper puzzle sheet on a snowy table, twinkling lights and a carol when you finish. Every puzzle is made fresh and has exactly one answer. Choose Easy, Medium or Hard. It plays in your browser on a phone or a computer, with no download and no sign-up, and keeps your place if you leave.
How to play
- Fill the grid so every row, column and 3x3 box holds the numbers 1 to 9 once each.
- Tap a square, then tap a number. Tap the same number again to clear it.
- Turn on Notes to pencil in small numbers you are unsure of.
- Clashing numbers turn red. Use Hint for the next logical step, and Undo to take a move back.
- On a keyboard, use the arrow keys to move, 1 to 9 to fill, N for notes and Backspace to erase.
Does every puzzle have one answer?
Yes. Each puzzle is checked so it has exactly one solution, and it can be solved by logic without guessing.
How hard is each level?
Easy puzzles can be finished by spotting squares where only one number fits. Medium needs you to find where a number can only go in a row, column or box. Hard gives fewer clues and needs more careful thinking.
Does it cost anything?
